Audio problems on HP ENVY TS 17 Notebook

I have tried Pulse Audio and Alsa, neither seem to work in getting my audio to a reasonable volume.

I had HDA jack retask on Ubuntu which seemed to worked fined before I distrohopped.
I can't seem to have it work on this new build.

What do you mean when you say you tried them? What specifically did you try?

Updating and or installing pulse audio as suggested didn't resolve the matter.

Tweaking Almixer too, didn't appear to resolve it.

Hmm, okay well so far we know basically nothing because all the information in the thread so far is too vague to be meaningful.

Did you try this? PipeWire - ArchWiki
