Audio only plays on left channel

hello new user here, hope this is correct. audio will only play through left channel. using headphones and desktop speakers. for the past few months all was fine until the other day after turning my system on i noticed my audio wasn't playing properly. any advice would be helpful on how to fix the issue. thanks in advance. if i am going about this in the wrong way on this forum than let me know.

What changed between it working and it not working?

Why haven’t you updated your system? There’s zero point running a rolling-release distro if you don’t want to update it.

How did you run your attempted update?

When you post error messages you need to post both the input and the output. Otherwise we have no idea which command was run, or if the update was executed from a GUI program, (not recommended).

The recommended way for updating Garuda is with the following terminal command:

garuda-update
