Audio not working but i think different problem

Yesterday, While i was at work my girlfriend was playing a game i had downloaded for her with hdmi connected to the TV. This garuda install is only about a week old with some steam games installed. She said at one point she disconnected the hdmi and then at some point the laptop crashed, but then she just logged in and kept playing the game as normal. However, since she does not like audio apparently, she does not know when the audio stopped working. All i know is today when i try to use it, the audio does not output at all anymore.

I have tried following a few other similar topics, no avail. I have tried messing with the garuda assist to uninstall pulseaudio → install pipewire. At one point while trying to fix it the “sound” option in system settings disappears completely. So i try to do a system rollback after i cant figure out how to fix that now. Then the dang thing starts freezing at the MSI bois logo at startup every time, i have to completely reinstall from usb. All very frustrating, but luckily everything on this install were just steam games i can reinstall pretty quickly

Now with the story out of the way, my “sound” button in the system settings is back, but still no audio output at all. No clue why at this point

Can you check in setting which one is working here -->Settings–>Audio

After several days later it seems to be working again on its own, I dont know why but it works now. I could not upload a screenshot of my settings, because my account is too new.

What i can describe though is that, when i would select the pro audio as the device manager it would populate several instances (6-12 depending on when i did it) of the selected audio device. Very weird on everything i tried to do, but fixed itself on its own. Will ask again, if it stop working again, but hopefully i can provide screenshots then for better examples of the issue
