Hello everyone,
first of all, I want to acknowledge that this is not issue with Garuda itself. I've been long term user of Dragonized edition and I am very satisfied with it. However, recently I've decided to install it on my girlfriends laptop too, to completely get rid of WIndows in our family.
She noticed that ARK takes too long to unpack large RAR files. For me, I've already solved the problem - simply by using unrar from the terminal. However, she is not used to using terminal and won't manage it (believe me, I've tried).
Is there any simple solution to make ARK work faster, or use other GUI software that will work faster with RAR files? I've tried to Google for the information, but even when the issue is acknowledged, solution is nowhere to be found.
