can you check if you pull the anydesk client from aur instead of chaotic-aur it makes any difference?

paru -S aur/anydesk-bin

also attach the logs the app generates when launched from terminal.

btw, while going through the repos I came across this

chaotic-aur/remmina-plugin-anydesk-git 20200414-1.2
A protocol plugin for Remmina to launch an Anydesk connection.

extra/remmina 1:1.4.33-1
remote desktop client written in GTK+

:eyes: seems like remmina is worth checking out if anydesk doesn’t work (I personally haven’t tried it, just recommended it given that is has plugin to launch anydesk connection which is fascinating).

or you could also try rustdesk (heard it’s good from a few people).

There is already locked post with the same problem. Solution to this was found on Manjaro forum: you need to remove appmenu-gtk-module package.
