An update bugs out my Display Port audio

This evening I was notified to update 56 packages, one of them appears to bug out my audio driver, I have already restored the snapshot to confirm this.
The Audio device after update is called : "Line Out (Built-in Audio Analog Stereo)", while before the update it was "HDMI/DisplayPort 3( TU106 High Definition Audio Controller)"
After updating one of the following packages causes this:

I'd like to report here, and hope I'm in the right thread, that I also experience problems with they audio after yesterday's updates (and I've checked the "Package conflict between pipewire-media-session & wireplumber" discussion and the garuda-hotfix issue as well and related suggested fixes)

I use an external USB card, btw.

After the update, we were saying, any audio and video is not working. Streaming video and audio hang, media players don't reproduce anything. Only VLC plays the video but with no audio.

When I log out and login again switching from X11 to Wayland it now plays the video but the sound cards are not recognized at all.

i get this message when launching any player or browser, I don't know whether it's related

libva error: vaGetDriverNameByIndex() failed with unknown libva error, driver_name = (null)

Again, I hope it's the right discussion and it's pertinent, as it's the only similar issue I have found after this very same update.

EDIT: I installed pipewire-media-session and the problem has gone. Sorry for having another duplicate of a few other threads I've seen yesterday and today

Weird the hotfix appeared this morning again & that fixed it. Im confused how the hotfix didnt go through the first time. And im 99% sure that i didnt restore any snapshots before it.

I see a couple of hours ago a new version of the hotfix was released to resolve the conflict differently.
Maybe this was what you needed to fix your issue...
