Steam - Error
An error occurred while updating Age of empires II: Definitive edition (disk write error):
/STEAM/SteamLibrary/steamapps/temp/1391110

I have a /STEAM btrfs partition on a ssd disk.
UUID=3fea0111-f9e4-4c5d-acbf-8f7fa50fc337 /STEAM btrfs nodatacow,noacl,rw 0 0 #sdb2

until last week it worked well

verified that steam recognises /STEAM partition and is configured correctly. I played this same game last week

roke@DRAGONIZED ~/Descargas % ls /STEAM/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common

sudo umount -a
sudo mount -a
open steam and add the steamlibrary again and the error persists

I have tried with two other steamlibrary and the same thing happens, also btrfs partition.

in the library on /home/roke partition works correctly (btrfs)

I have to admit, you managed to fill out more of the post template that most people, but this is still not correct. Please edit your post, add some info about what you are doing and what you tried. We can't help like this.

Guessing from the title, something did not write when doing something. Is there enough space on the drive? Alternatively try sudo smartctl /dev/<the drive> -l error and post the output here.

I don't understand why you ask me to add information of what I am doing and what I tried, when this information is already there.

Enough disk space? do not believe that if I am able to provide so much information I am able to have verified the disk space? I have written that I tried with several partitions , do not you think that the problem is not the disk space?

I do not know if the problem with the forum is the translation because I do not speak or write English , I am using a translator.

But I think I have been very specific in what is the problem , steam gives me an error in the btrfs partitions and last week it did not do it

roke@DRAGONIZED ~/Downloads % sudo smartctl /dev/sdf2 -l error
[sudo] password for roke:
smartctl 7.3 2022-02-28 r5338 [x86_64-linux-6.1.8-zen1-1-zen] (local build)

But it's fixed now.
I uninstalled steam, deleted the configuration and restarted, and restarted. It didn't work, so I unmounted the partition and remounted again with sudo (I tried this last one before and it didn't work), but this time it worked. I still don't know what the problem was, but at least it works.

Only now it works if the /STEAM partition is mounted with sudo and does not work from boot ( /etc/fstab ).

What I say that if to receive some guidance with a problem you have to be an expert ... as it is not much use, do not you think?

Of all the questions and problems that I have put in the forum ... some have helped me to know where to look to correct the problem but none so far has given me the solution. Partly because the problems that I expose are very specific, before posting the problem I have looked for possible solutions and many times I have found them.

If I don't find a solution I turn to the experts, but it turns out that the experts ask me to speak in expert language and I am not an expert.

Two edits later…

Really? I put the info in the first post.
anyway
I already said I solved it, you must forget it.
I give you a heart

Please, calm down

I edit your post and I see your text part very late and edit it again.
So, please, format your posts well, it’s easier for all people they would help.
Thanks.
