Myself have done also these steps…but result = dri card 1 and not default dri card 0.
Mostly make this no troubble, but…perhaps this entry in the kernel boot option solve your issue.
Don’t forget to test these option:
amdgpu.ppfeaturemask=0xfffd3fff (my mind you need this entry)
as info for you:
You use current 89,1% space (sda). You run out of space if you don’t take attention on this.
Btrfs + snapshot need space…less then 10% on free space ..you run in trouble.
You have a extra swap partition on this drive. I know, never ending story..

When I was switching from 3080 to 9070XT, all I had to do is uninstall NVIDIA drivers. Slapped in new card, installed MESA and called it a day. Nothing else was needed. But who knows…
Also in regards of the layers, I have them since fresh install Mokka and they never did any issues so far.
Try using X11 instead of Wayland. I’m on an all AMD system (5800x3D & 7900XT) and I get freezes all the time when using Wayland. I’m 100% stable on X11.
