I advise against downloading and opening files from anywhere.
Opening a new request after the first one was closed because of your spam does not excuse you from posting the “garuda-inxi”.
Posting the problem in the thread name and not in the first post is not good either.
If you really want help, start posting the relevant log files.
Also everything you did before the problem started.
For example, whether it occurred after an update, and which programs were updated.
cat /var/log/pacman.log | grep -E 'installed|upgraded|removed'
cat /var/log/pacman.log | grep '2024-MM-DD' | grep -E 'installed|upgraded|removed'
If you use the forum search, which is also required in the template, you will find good solutions to the “black screen”.
With your long topic name I got a “destroyed” bar
ok i will reply point wise

wont work can you please assist to solve this problem
Is this also happening when you are in windows Os
no my windows os works fine even i try ubantu , parrot or kali all of them work fine but garuda is cool full of animation but give a lots of bugs all other os work fine but this problem of sleep mode black screen only work with garuda
I’m sorry to say that I don’t know exactly how many Garuda users there are, but here in the forum there are over 8000, at least 80% use KDE, but you are the only one with this problem.
I also use KDE on several computers, no problems.
Have you tried other DE’s from Garuda?
Does the same thing happen in the KDE live ISO?
Does the same thing happen in the Garuda Linux KDE lite live ISO?
If so, you should switch to something else.
i did not used other garuda iso becuase i love the dragomised animation should i try different one or not but when i boot garuda i saw a error failed to start virtual console setup is this a error or help me should i try different distro or not or which one is best after dragonised
You need to resolve the failed service, if you wish to eleminate the console error.
so how i resolve the failed service can you give me command or give a update to fix my error
You might want to read some systemd troubleshooting guides. I’m not at your computer terminal, so it is much harder for me to diagnose.
Example:
Maybe you could try this drop-in
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Power_management/Suspend_and_hibernate#System_freezes_for_60_seconds_and_then_wakes_back_up_or_hangs_after_waking_up
You should also start here Wake from sleep results in black screen
bro nothing work but when i download garuda linux gnome edition it work fantastic without any error but gnome has suspend in place of sleep may be thats the reason but i dont like i like dragonised edition please fix dragonised edition error like x11 amd sleep error and network error while download cursor theme from your stare , default discover not work your partition manager not open in dragonised one when i search for virtual console setup error in chatgpt it shows that it is beuase keyboard layout but i use indian english keyboard so whats the error please fix your dragonised edition i dont like gnome becuase of its animation effect but gnome work better than dragonised when i have a gaming computer or lateset component so whats the error
The error starts with your persistent refusal to provide the output of your garuda-inxi
.
His keyboard seems to be broken.
It’s terrible to read texts without periods and commas, even in my mother tongue, but English is not my mother tongue.
I am now taking a long break from this topic, a very long one.
Rare input from Hammy here. As i see it, the main problem is the decision to use Parrot and Kali. If you really do want to use some of the tools these Distro’s come with, just install them separately into a main Distro. You don’t need Parrot and Kali to be a hacker. They are stops on the way to a Daily Driver
Can I now suggest your problem is graphics card related, take it out of the pc, clean everything, check your power supply, fit AMD GPU, sell the NVIDIA on Ebay.
To be fair I don’t think arch is for you. Maybe a more turnkey set up or something you used previously that works for you would be better.
Your lack of willingness to state if you actually tried the environment commands or the kernel parameter. Leads me to believe that you don’t want to fix the problem yourself. And since it’s only you that has majority of these problems other than the black screen. Makes me think you did something during the install or added something later.
If you want animations use some extensions in gnome.
Just a heads up, Op is being kind of rough, but I had the same issue and it’s difficult to describe or quantify.
You can find some details here:
https://www.reddit.com/r/kde/comments/1e4j4u2/why_is_none_talking_about_the_plasma_crash_from/
In the end, it seems to be related to (or at least fixed at the same time by the same package updates) as this bug:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=489180
Can fix it now, but it’s annoying, I’m not the one to detail it. I know the issue itself is also annoying, but I’d recommend just waiting for the updates to be pushed out naturally.
