How can i take snapshots of root and home together, how can i add home to my snapshots?
There is no real need to take the snapshots of root and home together. /home
isn’t modified by an update.
You can create a config for /home
in Btrfs Assistant and then set it to run on a schedule via the timeline setup.
for example, when i uninstall firefox i have leftovers in home, like config folder… i would like that when i’m testing some installs that i can remove them completly, i don’t want leftovers.
How can i do that?
Just delete it, the applications did not touch your /home, .config folders if you remove the app.
BTW, one issue per topic and search yourself before opening a help request.
Thanks
You can take and restore snapshots of any subvolume the same way. Just set up a Snapper config and restore a snapshot next time if that is what you want to do.
