I just got an RGB keyboard and I am unable to get the lights on. Could please assist me on this?

openrgb works for controlling most keyboards, but isn't compatible with everything, mostly because manufacturers all insist on having their own special software for configuring RGB. If you could specify which specific keyboard you have it might be possible to give more specific advice

If you have one of those keyboards that turn on the LEDs with Scroll Lock then it will not work out of the box, you will have to search the internet about how to make it work on Linux.
