A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one

I come from openSUSE Tumbleweed and that distro is absolutely spectacular. But I had one problem that I couldn't get around with, the auto rotate didn't work and considering that I run a 2-1 laptop, I really want that functionality. Particularly these days, because I've been reading text books for an upcoming test.

So I decided to distrohop in the search for a distro that has that functionality out of the box (a bit lazy ok). First Fedora, then Manjaro and Endeavor. No luck. At this point I started to wonder if was my laptop the problem, so I tried Ubuntu and it worked.

But when you've running a rolling release for a while you get hooked, so I started looking for YouTube videos. That's when I saw the one from Tyler's Tech and decided to try Garuda as my last option. At this point I was ready to give up and go back to Tumbleweed.

And to my surprise, it works. Flawlessly. You devs are amazing, thank you so much for this distro. I'm writing this as the distro updates and I plan to keep it.

Hope you guys are proud of your work, because you should be.

5/5

Yeah not all distro preinstall iio-sensor-proxy package

Although it might be a bloat for lot of people but

It makes things a lot easier out of the box.
