A cool app for music fans

Ever download an album and get one large .WAV or .FLAC file? If there’s a .cue file, and there probably is, flacon is what you need. It uses the .cue file and extracts individual files very quickly. Easy to understand GUI.

Hmmm. tried running it today and got

flacon: error while loading shared libraries: libtag.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Cannot find libtag. It ran before.

I think we need more details and the garuda-inxi output from terminal as text. Please.

I reproduce (the error, LOL). Building from AUR now, takes time (also).
And yes, inxi please, even if “just in case”.

Advices for a good synthetic voice to read “10 months later”?

Yep, just rebuild.

Apart from garuda-inxi, just post links from the unsupported app

Ah, so it’s likely not using that libtag 2, at first I did not notice but depends taglib.

you can also use DeaDBeeF or Foobar2000 for playing and converting .cue and basically everything audio!
Both work very reliable and simple.

OK.

Mate I’m dense, but DeaDBeeF will play individual tracks, but I couldn’t extract individual tracks.

if it plays it should definitely work

select all tracks
right-click → convert

just tried again. works like a charm

Yep! It worked, and thank you! I just didn’t see the Convert function.
