4K resolution no longer available (KDE plasma)

Some time, after applying latest updates 4K res 3840x2160 are no longer available. It APPEARS on “display settings” but nothing happens after pressing apply. Yes, I HAVE used it before. Sometimes. When workong on diagrams. My everyday resolution is 1920x1080. No, IDK exactly when it happened or what caused it. During boot, when framebuffer is initialized, boot log still displayed at 3840x2160 resolution.
Display (SAMSUNG SmartTV) absolutely supports this resolution.
Problem lies somewhere in wayland-plasma.

Manually lowering resolution to 50Hz helped. Haven’t needed that setting to be manually lowered before.

An FYI x11 has a occasional habit of going to a smaller desktop in the middle of the screen. I have a thread on here about it. I was leery of going to Wayland til I ran into that on more than on Arch distro after updates.
