3 monitors set up - usbToVga not working

Hi guys, I'm new on using Garuda Linux and I would love some help to setting up my displays.

I want to use two external monitors:
1 - HDMI: which works fine
2 - usbToVga: which is not working

I have read foruns this included and tried a lot o solutions but nothing works for me.

I'm using Optimus Manager (Hybrid mode)

I have a NVidia GTX 1650 and an Intel (discrete)

My inxi output:

Can you provide more details about the specific adapter you are using?

A lot of USB to VGA adapters require a driver to be installed. A lot of times this kind of driver will be written for Windows only, unfortunately.

This thread looks like it wound up going nowhere, but might have some insightful troubleshooting tips if you want to dig a little deeper: [EXPLAINED] USB 3.0 to VGA adapter does't seem to work / Kernel & Hardware / Arch Linux Forums

How certain are you it is plugged into a 3.0 port? It looks like that’ll be the bare minimum to have a shot of it working.

Thank you @BluishHumility

I'm using an UGA Adapter.
On my old OS (Debian 11) I used this with displayLink driver without any issues.

Yes I've plugged this adapter into a 3.0 USB port.

This is my lsusb:

As you can see in the line:

Hmm, I wonder if it might be worth trying the LTS kernel? It has a slightly different hardware enablement configuration. You can install it from Garuda Assistant and select the LTS kernel from the grub menu when you boot.

Ok! Let me try!

Done! I've installed Linux TLS Kernel and choose this from the grub.

I'm still facing the same problem.

Ah, too bad! Worth a shot for an easy fix, looks like you may need to dig a little deeper though.

I would recommend taking a crack at this Arch Wiki setup guide, starting here: DisplayLink - ArchWiki

The fact that you got it working on Debian is very promising, I think.

Describe what you have tried and failed, so we don’t propose the same.

The archwiki links in above posts give good info. What have you tried from these?

If it still fails, post Xorg log for investigation.
Don’t post anything, unless it is good news, or description of your failed attempts.
