I'm primarily a gamer but have loved computers since I was a kid. I always disliked using Windows for gaming (knowing what I know about Microsoft). One day my friend told me Linux gaming was possible and I couldn't believe it. I tried Pop OS at first but eventually moved to Garuda because I loved the look of Plasma KDE and have never looked back. I used to have a dual boot setup with Garuda but after one of the most recent Proton releases literally, EVERYTHING in my Steam library works on Linux now. I deleted the Windows partition and have no intention of ever going back. I even marked that deletion as a celebration on my calendar.
