I'm retired and have dipped my toes off and on in the linux pool for a few years now. Prior to Garuda, I installed and used Debian Testing (bookworm).
Prior to that it was a windows 10, Debian duel boot. It's Linux now on a permanent basis even with some of the remaining Linux hardware driver handicaps ( GPU's and Printers). I am constantly impressed at what you can do with a 10 year old MSI gaming laptop and a Geruda linux install.
