Whenever I pass the mouse cursor over video previews (like the ones listed in the youtube homepage), the youtube tab crashes.

The last version of the package I have cached is 100.0.2-1, it does not present the issue.

Sorry for posting so many issues on firedragon, I really do love the browser (I think it's a great compromise between the usability of firefox and the privacy of librewolf).

Issue confirmed. Don't apologize for posting bug reports, it helps improving the situation for everyone

Hello,

This is happening to me as well as of 5/29/22.

Also on LibreWolf. Google or Firefox fault.

Yes me too, since a few versions of Firedragon.

Tabs are also crashing randomly, I cannot view a video more than 10mins and it will crash (Gah. Your tab just crashed. Something like that.) or freeze, sometimes freezing part of the system and reboot is required, if it let me initiate it...

Glad I'm not the only one as I couldn't find a "recent" thread on the web about that. But I did find a LOT of old ones. loll

(while I was opening another topic link here, Firedragon crashed and closed completely loll Maybe that's a different issue though, let's focus on the one in the OP)

Hmm, just yesterday night. No browser updates. I got also promotion first time

I hate it.

Ok so previous Firedragon versions are working if I re-read the OP. Hmmm, ok, then my issue is elsewhere cuz it's been a good 2 weeks with crashes about 5 to 10 times per 5 hours of using my machine. I guess my issues just happened to be hit at the same time with this one lolll Back on the fixing table for me, then. Tnx for pointing out.

Curious that FireDragon issues do not show anything in Google / Duck Duck Go. I'll take note to use internal forum search next time.

This forum doesn't seem to rank in Google at all. Anything can be done to improve this?

Or maybe it's purposely kept off from indexing for privacy reasons? :joy:

 :joy:

whoogle is the better google.

How's the latest build? (PGO is back, the only modification being made is disabling the use of jarlog which caused the build to fail as no data was generated during profiling)

You can be sure we will upd in the next few hours and test it.

New build (100.0.2-5) does not present the issue. Great work!

On my side it still crashes, I just wanted to add that. (Version: 100.0.2 (64-bit))
I did the latest garuda-update, no change.

Ok but which 100.0.2 version? There were 5 at least up to now… the one that works is

You’re right @BruceLakeriver. After 2 successful days now tabs start to crash again. It generates a core dump every time from Isolated Web sub-process. There must be something else in there, I’ll install Mozilla’s Firefox this w-e and see if it happens from the source too.
