World Of Warcraft crashing on start with error 132

Issue started around a month ago and when I go to launch vanilla wow I get an error 132 ( general error with crash) on launch

I know this isnt much of a garuda problem so much as some package in broader arch

The clostest thing that came up while searching was lib32-libdrm-2.4.126-1 and onward break 32-bit Proton/DXVK games

But none of the solutions worked for me.

You don’t mention how you launch WoW.
Both vanilla and retail run great here with Lutris and wine-tkg-staging-wow64-bin as start option.

This is a classic error.

May I ask how you run it? Any of the latest ge_proton releases should handle this perfectly.

Was running it through lutris (Which still seems borked), as another comment mentioned It works with ge_proton so I switched to that.

Yeah proton is amazing. Just runs it without any hassle.

For easier access, add wow.exe to steam and set it to use the latest GE proton.
