Try sudo update-grub again and paste output here.

By the way, if you put three tildes before and after your terminal output it will fix the formatting. Like this:

Not our problem, this issue was created by Windows from the get go.

Either learn to correct the issues Windows creates or donā€™t dual boot.

This is not a remedial forum for Windows users.
