Will Lightdm break after update?

Hi,

I am new to Linux and Gnome…
For customization reasons, I have disabled GDM and enabled Lightdm…

I am currently using “gnome disk utility 40.0.1” but have an update to “40.1.1”…

Will upgrading cause any issues since GDM is disabled?

I don't think so.

But even if it does, you can restore it to the working version using timeshift.
