Why does garuda constantly flicker on games?

Does this happen also if you log into an x11 session?
It is well known that Wayland does not get along with Nvidia and even more so with KDE6.
Nothing is in Garuda’s hands and responsibility.

A reboot is pending, just in case…

The means, KDE needs a restart.

The template help

  • After rebooting, post the FULL output of garuda-inxi in the body of the post (not linked externally, or collapsed with the “hide details” feature)

Rebooting will refresh the system after the update.

Restarting the system after update works. Shutting down didn’t.

Then you go to a terminal

systemctl shutdown -h now

or also

systemctl reboot

KDE sometimes hangs at certain points after updates.
Especially at the moment. Plasma 5 to 6
