This song is hard hitting and touches the soul just like ‘Living for Tomorrow’ especially now. Only the Scorpions can write and perform such meaningful songs and music

I listen to everything as I'm truly a never-ending student of music history, performance and theory. I studied it in university (drums and piano being my primary instruments). But if I had to a have a preferred genre it would have to progressive rock.

Bands like Porcupine Tree, Haken, Car Bomb, Knower, Chimp Spanner, Mike Oldfield, Textures, Our Oceans, Devin Townsend, Crown Compass, etc.

I also write my own music which you can hear here.

Patashnik 2 - The Third Planet v.1 - Biosphere

The samples are from "The Martian Chronicles", based on the Ray Bradbury novel.

The speaker is a Martian woman. Her dream was a precognition of meeting the first humans on Mars.

The idea she would meet and talk to human men so frightened and enraged her Martian husband that he went to the landing site first and murdered the entire exploratory crew.

It always struck me as a very long winded way to rephrase "We have met the enemy, and they are us." (Itself a quote from the comic character Pogo, by Walt Kelly)

*Sigh* I love geeking out about this sh[REDACTED].

I love Biosphere, always such good ambient music! Did it inspire the creator of the Super Metroid music many have asked...

I also love Dopplereffekt.

Oh, and if you like Biosphere then I have to make sure you are familiar with Murcof.

Currently I'm in to that one, (rock and a bit grudge but not nasty, with good lyrics and singing as well)

here is the whole album and this is the official artists YT channel as well

Me  but prefer my newer stuff... It took some time to learn the ropes on quality assurance. I'm no Eric Clapton above and don't make videos, but you can find me all over.

My latest song was about a girlfriend that wants to go ghost-hunting, of which I say "Outta Here" to.
Also have song out there dedicated to my Commodore roots - "Eight-Bit Dude".

Some of my favorite composures:
I'll Remember
Doggone It
Corporate America
Eight-Bit Dude
The Stand
Outta Here
Funky Chunk Groove
With My Lord In the End
Loser with a Big Truck
