What is the monitor thing on right of screen and how to turn it off.
Not sure how I started it but trying to shut it off.

Those are KDE Plasma widgets. You can easily remove them by right clicking each one and removing them.
(or by right clicking an empty space on your desktop, going into Edit Mode and removing it there. You can exit edit mode the same way you enter it; an exit option will be there instead)
