What is kwin edge

Hello amigos,

I am on a fresh install of Garuda Linux. The dock was good until a noticed a thin line at the bottom of the dock which made it look ugly. I opened edit dock and turned off enable kwin edge after hiding . It fixed the problem.What is kwin edge and is it necessary?

It is possible to enable events to be triggered automatically when the mouse cursor reaches the edges or corners of the screen (exposing the hidden dock, for example). The highlighting effect is meant to help make you aware you are in one of the zones where an edge effect is in use. The effect is not necessary if it provides you with no benefit.
