VGA - onboard AMD not detected

Hello Team,

I am new to Arch and Garuda, So far it's been good. I had issues installing in the beginning but thanks to the forum I was able to install the Garuda ultimate edition.

I have a question , how do I utilize onboard Raedon driver ? I have installed Garuda on my test laptop which has an on-board R7 M370 chip. I see the OS is using default Intel one, Any help or advise would be appreciated.

[root@Garuda-ThinkPad ~]# lspci | grep -i vga
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Skylake GT2 [HD Graphics 520] (rev 07)
[root@Garuda-ThinkPad ~]# lspci | grep -i amd
03:00.0 Display controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Mars [Radeon HD 8670A/8670M/8750M] (rev 81)
[root@Garuda-ThinkPad ~]#

All is automatic. For manually using dGPU use PRIME

Thanks for the suggestion, After reading few other articles. The Hybrid graphic seems to be a problem. People had to dump their laptops with this particular chipset combo. I wouldn't sweat on this much as this was a test laptop.

You haven't described any problem you face.
There is nothing to solve.
Until you face a problem, sleep well.
