Upgrade breaks MHWD- mhwd: error while loading shared libraries: libhd.so.22

Hello everyone,

recently I installed fresh Garuda Dragonize and after installation MHWD works fine and nvidia-prime drivers are pre-installed, after doing "garuda-update" it seems that MHWD now getting library errors, any help appriciated!

Hi there, welcome to the forum.
Maybe just a reboot needed?
Or, most likely, @dr460nf1r3 do we need to rebuild mhwd-garuda, since now the dependency hwinfo provides libhd.so.23?

Thanks, I have been on Garuda for over a year, unforutently reboot doesn't help in this case :frowning:

Dont see other version for hwinfo than 23.1 in arch repos

I just created a symlink with the new revision of libhd.so.23 to libhd.so.22 and that resolved my problem for the time being :wink:

Yup, very true that. I sadly can't bump anything due to GitLab having an outage right now :frowning:
