Update: File conflicts found

I got notification of updates.

Decided to update.

During the fetching of updates it came with the following message:

hwdata <-> hwids (/usr/share/hwdata/pci.ids), hwdata <-> hwids (/usr/share/hwdata/pnp.ids), hwdata ,-. hwids (/usr/share/hwdata/usb.ids): conflicting files

Please report this issue to the packagers of your distribution.

I tried this update 15 minutes ago, if that is relevant.

Needless to say that the updates did not go trough.

I have absolutely no idea about what this may relate to!

Any clues and suggestions for a fix?

It’s marked as solved, although the discussion seems to be going on.
