A little more context. I notice that when starting the PC the wifi automatically connects to the network and the taskbar shows an active connection. However, when I open up the wifi quick action, I do not see an active connection. I then reselect the network to connect. Sometimes by connecting and reconnecting while either trying to install or download items, does the changing connection allow me finish the download.
From research, many have attributed this to BT coex but ive disabled it, and I’ve checked several of the configs for iwlwifi.
Hey, I also have the Intel AX210 in my systems and I’ve had similar issues with both my laptop and desktop both running Garuda, both with Intel networking. I’ve also tried the solutions you suggest without success.
For me it sometimes works on retry or if I have other things running that constantly send and receive data over the network. I still think it’s some kind of power setting or configuration, but am not sure at this point, why the power config isn’t working. (I turned all power saving Off)
I have another non-intel wifi card and am thinking of trying that next to see if it might be related to Intel.
can you try to install the linux LTS Kernel. reboot and try update again. A friend also has issues with AX210 wifi and reported me lts worked. Which Frequency you are using 2.4 GHz or 5Ghz .
sudo pacman -S linux-lts linux-lts-headers
otherwise i would try to refresh the keyrings with garuda-rani
Not sure what exactly the issue is, but this was my fix. I noticed my Xbox had some game updates, and they would start then speed would drop and just be frozen, occasionally starting slowing to a halt over and over. I noticed my ISP uses 6to4 IPv6 and I disabled the auto configuration for it on my router. Both of the downloads for my Xbox and Garuda are fully functional. My Garuda updates are now almost instantaneous.
Thank you everyone for your help in trying to resolve this issue.
