Disable as above :point_up: then

sudo pacman -R profile-sync-daemon

This is how you uninstall any package,

Tried systemctl command but it is not being disabled. Also tried to remove it but it fails and says it is necessary for garuda common settings package. Should I remove garuda-common-settings or it will be required?

Why?

Where is the input and output of the command?

Try:

systemctl --user mask psd
systemctl --user status psd

Post the input and output of the commands?

As you suggested, I tried both commands :

systemctl --user status psd
ā— psd.service - Profile-sync-daemon

Docs: man:psd(1)
man:profile-sync-daemon(1)

Mar 05 10:30:38 garuda systemd[1660]: Finished Profile-sync-daemon.

Then :

systemctl --user mask psd
Created symlink /home/yash/.config/systemd/user/psd.service ā†’ /dev/null.

Then again :

systemctl --user status psd
ā— psd.service
Loaded: masked (Reason: Unit psd.service is masked.)

Mar 05 10:30:38 garuda systemd[1660]: Finished Profile-sync-daemon.

Now when I disable it,

systemctl --user disable psd
Unit /home/yash/.config/systemd/user/psd.service is masked, ignoring.

Masked, means it's now dead!!!

Ok Thank you very much. But itā€™s not being uninstalled.

sudo pacman -R profile-sync-daemon
[sudo] password for yash:
checking dependenciesā€¦

No problem if it canā€™t be uninstalled. Just asking if itā€™s possible.

Just a formal/format comment :blush:
Please, instead of quoting your text, format it like this:
~~~
text
~~~

Sure thanks for suggestion. Can I know in which cases should I use quoting?

Normally quoting is used for sentences. If from other posts, there is the apposite button, but e.g. sometimes you want to quote a text from an article, etc.
On the other hand, the formatting above is much readable for terminal text, and it also allows copying with a single click.
