when i try to open the kodi application and the animation at the cursor starts and finally it doesn't open and the kodi process doesn't show it htop.
First, try switching to kodi session (from Login window, choose kodi in session)

Also run kodi in a terminal and see what output it provides. There's probably an error message in there.
