Unable to log in err login failed even tho i input correct password

So i was updating stuff from rani and i think i updated some virtualization setting and enabled auto connect for Bluetooth plus some other things(i don’t remember what exactly). after that i just did a reboot and was unable to login even tho i am entering the correct password

I used recovery mode and entered my root password and was authenticated without ant problem i even tried changing my pass to 123 and was still unable to log in to my system

i was not able to find any solution on internet

To change the password of a user account, you can use the command passwd to change the password. For example, to change the password for the user joe from the rescue mode shell, you would use this command:

passwd joe

I assume your issue is related to keyboard layouts in some way.

I all ready tried changing the password of my user in the same way same way u mentioned.

the thing that worked for me was restoring to a previous snapshot from 2 days ago.
