Unable to install gt 1030 Nivida drivers and constant flickering on everything

Hello, I'm new to garuda and I come from a manjaro background; I've been having a lot of trouble trying to fix these two issues in the title. I assume that the constant flickering can be fixed by just installing my GPU's drivers but the auto-installer just breaks garuda and I have to roll back to a previous snapshot to be able to use garuda otherwise I'd be stuck on either a black screen with a blinking _ or my monitor wont even turn on as if my GPU is completely offline.

I even tried $ sudo mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300 but it resulted in the same problems as well.
No errors from both the graphical installer or the terminal
