Unable to connect phone

Hi all,
Im having an issue connecting my phone to my laptop.
Im running a barebones Gnome edition, and it hasnt worked for the ~1 or 2 weeks ive had it.
On the non-barebone gnome edition i dont remember having a problem.

I have tried what is in this post KDE connect cannot find the phone

When i run lsblk with and without the phone plugged in it seems to detect something, but i cannot mount the device.
