Trouble getting primary monitor to set

I have set the monitor in the “Display and Monitor” section in the system settings. However, it won’t make the change from my second monitor. I have worked with ChatGpt and Claude to search through Xorg, Wayland, Xandr, KDE Plasma, SDDM, and Nvidia settings. The issue still persists. Everything shows that the monitor I want as primary is set, however, the second monitor stays the same.

This is a fresh install.

I have searched through the forum and could find nothing regarding this issue

I did what you said and moved DP-1 to DP-2 and it still would not make DP-2 the primary.

what is your output from the terminal?

xrandr

With xrandr you can make your own profile for both monitors but inside wayland session not really. Even nvidia-settings works not right inside wayland-session. (my mind)
Install wlr-randr to config your monitors.

sudo pacman -S wlr-randr

over konsole run wlr-randr to config.

Test it in a x11 session.
Perhaps you need for the x11 session file xorg.conf in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d.
Use nvidia-settings or make your own file. Reboot and ?
