Touchpad doesn't work on lxqt

Hello,
I can't make my touchpad work. This is a long standing issue on my laptop with arch based distors, but up until now, I could solve the problem by creating a 30-touchpad.conf file and copying it in the /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d folder. But this time the trick doesn't work.

Can anyone help me identifying the source of the problem?
Thank you.

Laptops aren't my thing. I only ever install Linux on laptops for friends and family now and then.

So, I'm far from an expert on laptop workings. I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than myself will wander by to help you. In the mean time check if you have xf86-input-libinput installed.

xf86-input-libinput is installed.
I forgot to mention that only the right side of the touchpad doesn't work. I can scroll but I can't click buttons.
