After clicking on notification by Garuda System Manager's "Update System" Button I got this error:
/tmp/tmp.XbR7wqYUaR: line 1: update: command not found

Maybe try:
sudo pacman -Syu garuda-update
Then you should be able to update from terminal with:
garuda-update
or
update
but also from the assistant, I hope...
