This linux distro seems incompatible with octopi
I can't seem to understand why is this problem occuring. I have installed pamac though which works perfectly fine for installing softwares but i still want to explore and find out more about linux so i want to resolve this error. I have attempted nothing because i new to linux.

Please, post full in and output from inxi -Faz.
Start octopi from terminal, post errors as text.
Define what is incompatible or what not work.
As always, use pamac, octopi for searching and install and update with pacman.

If the problem is how to install from AUR in Octopi, give a look at this one:
You need to install one of these:
pacaur: for AUR support
pikaur: for AUR support
trizen: for AUR support
yay: for AUR support

Try octopi-dev. The stable package is still in version 0.11, which doesn't have the added support. Version 0.12 should also work with paru (default for us) or any of the other helpers.
