@Scoobin So KDE is the issue, Manjaro Gnome updated fine. Even with noo driver installed KDE became unbootable. Gnome, I really didn’t like it, but it seems I see posts on Nvidia’s driver breaking distroes, so prob. should get AMD or Intel.
For me KDE became an issue at that time on Manjaro. But they were stalling the new releases for weeks/months and I really wanted to try the latest KDE Plasma releases to see if bugfixes would help. When I switched to Garuda I was getting the latest releases fresh and while I experienced one or two medium severity bugs with the early Plasma 6.0, 6.1… (to be expected) the recent releases have been almost bug-free for me.
Gnome’s code-base I imagine is a lot simpler than Plasma and easier to maintain. It’s a great workflow on Gnome too. Plasma is a bit ahead on the gaming features and is more feature-rich/tweakable.
