The live cd edition with DE Gnome and Xfce does not start

The live cd edition with DE Gnome and Xfce does not start. At startup, at the grub startup stage, the error "invalid arch-independent ELF magic" appears. At the same time, the KDE live CD and the installed KDE edition work.

My suggestions would be:

  1. Make sure ISO file checksums were correct (if not download again and recheck)
  2. Re-create the USB (preferred tool: Balena Etcher, I think Ventoy would be OK, dd also always worked for me)
  3. If still not OK, try another USB (or even another port) EDIT: not needed, since the USB/port wotks with KDE

Well it's fairly self evident that this only goes to prove once yet again that Elves and Gnomes are untrustworthy and unreliable.

Sorry, but I couldn't resist.
