The live cd edition with DE Gnome and Xfce does not start. At startup, at the grub startup stage, the error "invalid arch-independent ELF magic" appears. At the same time, the KDE live CD and the installed KDE edition work.
My suggestions would be:
- Make sure ISO file checksums were correct (if not download again and recheck)
- Re-create the USB (preferred tool: Balena Etcher, I think Ventoy would be OK, dd also always worked for me)
- If still not OK, try another USB (or even another port) EDIT: not needed, since the USB/port wotks with KDE

Well it's fairly self evident that this only goes to prove once yet again that Elves and Gnomes are untrustworthy and unreliable.
