I have been away from Linux about 30 years. Back around ‘93 to ‘95 I was heavily into compiling red hat for purpose built machines for an old employer.
I dabbled in newer releases over the years for my desktop / gaming, but always had to go back to windows for one reason or another.
I have had it with Windows and their new 11 push. I looked at several distros, and chose Garuda gaming dragonized.
This was the easiest arch setup I have ever used, and I absolutely love the styling. The Garuda scripts and helper apps are awesome.
I have recently converted several family members as well, that are also gamers.

i fully agree with you Garuda Dr460nized Gaming is awesome. I was hopping arround from 17 to 23 around with many distros and causes me many trouble.But i stand now few years with Garuda but only joined in the forum last year.Im happy with it and like to testing stuff and i give some help back if i can do it =) Nice to see your Feedback.im not in the Team btw only a user like you

For me this is the best distribution with many variants and options that give it such flexibility that it is suitable for almost everyone.
We only need a native Geforce now app and then there is no reason for using windows. Steam has done a great job with the native client and a lot of the games are already running under linux. The biggest issue with some games will be the anticheat (eg. Fortnite) that they are not allowing wine to run without considering it a cheat. Other than that, gaming under linux which was one of the reason of using windows in the past has made huge steps ahead. Lutris and Heroic games launcher are amazing.
I’m not a team member, or a gamer (other than the desktop games I can play against the computer), but I enjoy experimenting, and Garuda gives me everything I need to occupy me. I call my experiments adventures, because you never know what you’ll encounter when experimenting. Welcome to Garuda, and I hope you enjoy using it as much as I do.
That probably won’t ever happen officially, but you can still use it via a Chromium-based browser already without much trouble: GeForce Now - ArchWiki
There are 3rd party clients, which are effectively doing the same thing but via Electron, and are available on the AUR. I think that their ‘native’ Windows application is Electron too, but who knows.
