Please, use not <kbd>, only </> for preformatted text.

or use this ``` or this ~~~ in first and last line.

Ok, thanks for the feedback.
What does <kbd in the instructions refer to then?

If you type this
<kbd>Ctrl</kbd> + <kbd>ALt</kbd> + <kbd>F3</kbd>
it looks like this in Forum
Ctrl + ALt + F3
but it’s wrong for terminal text.

hello,

sound like a nvidia driver problem again. Many people have Problems when the Laptop goes for sleep or turn off Display.

i read in a other Forum they solved some issues if they uninstall the nvidia driver an install the 353 version with blacklisted nouveau driver.

or you turn off the settings for hibernate or display off after 5 minutes.(only my thinking the newer laptops dont use much power like older laptops so if i know i dont come back after 15 minutes i shut it down and start when i need it.Startup time same as waiting for reactivation from sleep)

I dont have a Nvidia Card anymore so i cant test it or have trouble with nvidia cards to solve. im more an AMD Fan =)

I was having problems with nvidia and ended up having to reinstall Garuda with open source drivers only. Hopefully it doesn’t come to that with your set up

Yes, so it must be an nvidia issue.
I cannot seem to uninstall anything though!

$sudo dkms autoinstall
[sudo] password

may you can try to install with packman not with sudo dkms .Try this maybe helps

To uninstall the NVIDIA driver via DKMS and reinstall a new NVIDIA driver with an updated initramfs on Arch Linux, follow these steps:

  1. Uninstall the NVIDIA driver and DKMS module:
  • Remove the NVIDIA driver and DKMS module using the following command:
sudo pacman -Rsn nvidia-dkms nvidia-utils
  • This command will remove the NVIDIA driver and its dependencies. The -s flag ensures that any associated packages are also removed.
  1. Rebuild the initramfs:
  • After uninstalling the NVIDIA driver, rebuild the initramfs to remove any NVIDIA-related modules:
sudo mkinitcpio -P
  1. Install the new NVIDIA driver and DKMS module:
  • Install the new NVIDIA driver and DKMS module:
sudo pacman -S nvidia-dkms nvidia-utils
  • This command will install the latest NVIDIA driver and its DKMS module, ensuring that the driver is rebuilt for any future kernel updates.
  1. Rebuild the initramfs again:
  • After installing the new driver, rebuild the initramfs to include the new NVIDIA modules:
sudo mkinitcpio -P
  1. Reboot the system:
  • Reboot your system to apply the changes:
sudo reboot

Thanks.

sudo pacman -Rsn nvidia-dkms nvidia-utils

ah yeah im sorry i had those in a txt safed.
if am right we have to use dracut for it on Garuda . I dont know exactly anymore how to do.But i know somewhere in the forum we had the issue and got it solved last year.may @nepti or #SGS know those dracut build initramfs when is urgently needed or whait for their answers =)

i dont know maybe you just try to install the new Nvidia driver and dkms modules in step 3. but after install in terminal upd and update all again should be doing snapshots for restore and reboot.

ps i found it instead of sudo mkinitcpio -P we use sudo dracut-rebuild

SOLVED!
I used Octopi to re-install dkms-nvidia.
