Switched from NVIDIA to AMD, stuck on boot (flashing cursor)

Hello, I just got a new 6700 XT GPU and i can't access garuda-inxi. I'm stuck on a boot screen. After selecting my kernel in grub, im just stuck on a black screen with a flashing white cursor on GNOME.

I am able to access the tty console using Alt+ F3. Is there anyway to auto-install the AMD drivers through the CLI, or get into my system? It seems like the GNOME display manager isn't booting up.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Edit: when i put in my NVIDIA GPU, i also get the same black screen as i uninstalled all my NVIDIA proprietary drivers before this...

Also, my 6700XT is confirmed working on my windows partition and UEFI

Thanks for the link, but i only came up with errors:

$ startx

sudo dkms autoinstall

Error! Could not locate dkms.conf file
File: /var/lib/dkms/nvidia/470.74/source/dkms.conf does not exist

I would assume that AMD gpu driivers are built into the kernel, no?

Final Edit:

I had to nuke my /etc/X11/xorg.conf and the computer boots to GNOME.
sudo rm /etc/X11/xorg.conf

I found from personal experience you can replace a nVidia card with a ADM /ATI card and have no issues, but not the other way around.
