This is a recent issue being fixed upstream (then it will come down to Garuda). See e g.:
About the old snapshot, I believe it is the one created when you restore (the pre-restore).
I was primarily focusing on:

You have an issue additional to the one I linked above. Your error says:
required by libpamac-aur
In my opinion, first of all, you should remove pamac (probably pamac-aur). They will have to fix it like paru and many others, but that package has always created troubles.
Once removed, the error linked to paru should not prevent the update to complete.
