Steam Runtime lunches Steam Native

I would like to install some non-native games on my machine but the install icon is gray. I guess that is because I used Steam Native at first. Unfortunately, Steam Native lunches when I run Steam Runtime so the install icon is still gray. I tried this solution which seems that downgrade the freetype2 package but Steam crashes after downgrading. So I have to upgrade the package again. Please find the garuda-inxi output in the following. Thank you very much in advance for your support.

Hello,
The greyed-out install icon is because you need to enable Steam Play to use Proton (Steam's version of Wine) with non-native games. To do this, go to steam > settings > compatibility and enable both options there.

The difference between Steam native and Steam runtime is the dependencies used - runtime will use ones bundled by Valve, native ones will use the distro's. More info here: Steam/Troubleshooting - ArchWiki
Searching will also wield other answers that might be a bit easier to read

Please also keep in mind that not all games are guaranteed to work flawlessly on Proton. To check before you try, I recommend visiting proton.db

I hope this helped ^^ but if I misunderstood something, please feel free to let us know.
