Software installed from aur doesn't have permission to write in storage

I installed a pacakge from AUR AUR (en) - veikk-tablet-bin but whenever I try to save the settings it shows that failed to save the settings. I think there is something I am missing with aur pacakges. Any help would be very helpful for me… I wasted an entire week in digging out the pacakges but couldn’t find any solution.

First, follow the forum rules, you didn’t post the required information. Second, post the logs or screenshots of the error and what are you exactly doing.

  Last full system update: 2023-09-16
  Is partially upgraded: Yes
  Relevant software: snapper NetworkManager dracut
Windows dual boot: Probably (Run as root to verify)
  Failed units:

whenever i try to save the settings by clicking on ok it shows that error.

Is it just this one software? In which case it’s probably an issue with this software…

Have u considered using OpenTabletDriver instead?

Your tablet is supported by OpenTabletDriver. I would sincerely recommend using it on Linux.

Here’s how I got it running on Garuda (KDE) - but make sure to first uninstall the VEIKK software!

echo "blacklist hid_uclogic" | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
sudo rmmod hid_uclogic
paru opentabletdriver (OR USE yay -S opentabletdriver)
systemctl --user daemon-reload
systemctl --user enable opentabletdriver --now

Then you can open the OpenTabletDriver GUI and your tablet should be detected, you can set up your profiles. Here’s their Wiki for more info Wiki - OpenTabletDriver

You really, REALLY need to fix this condition which can, among other things, cause serious system stability issues.

That is a very bad state.
