Maybe try this

Something is holding up NetworkManager-wait-online.service

Thanks for reminding me, I had forgotten to try what was suggested. Actually the proper almost solution is in another comment, which worked out immediately!!! @SvengaliExploit try it out: sudo pacman -S dbus-broker sudo systemctl enable dbus-broker.service sudo systemctl --global enable dbus-broker.service and reboot to check. Remove all other workarounds first.

It sounds similar issue.
