But transferring existing things to any background is pure technique, not art.
I think that’s how I started, too. 
It’s always good to establish a relationship with Garuda here, but you should bring your own ideas to the table. Not only a gradient background.

But I am using this as an opportunity to learn these tools like GIMP, Inkscape, etc.
And I have just dived into these waters, there’s an ocean ahead 
(Saw a sscreenshot of Inkscape and honestly I am overwhelmed with all the “tools and stuff”)
