I am not a gentoo user though, once somewhere in gentoo wiki I read that there pre-compiled binaries are available for very big softwares like chromium

I am, I’m using Gentoo on and off since 2011, so there is that.
And I’ve got Garuda now as my escape vessel

@Ankur yep, you can get almost every package of the Gentoo repo as a so called binary blob
But that’s not the sake of using Gentoo
