The setting is a Catholic (religion) confessional box/cabinet. The confessor is a Catholic priest. He iis there to listen to and give absolution for "siins" of the penitent. Catholic priests also take a vow of celibacy. However, the dialogue suggests that the young girl--the supposed penitent--is actually the priest's daughter.

I've heard this rite is observed by some Lutherans, also.

I see , till now I didn't found any funny thing in it , but got a new thing to know about churches :slightly_smiling_face: .... I think it completely depends on the eyes of the people who are watching , for someone it will be funny but for someone like me , it won't... and not for @Austin either because we have lots of similarity so, we both won't understand what is the laughing element here... :slightly_smiling_face:

Catholic’s tend to eat fish on Fridays–please don’t ask me to explain the theology behind that–and my tag line nominally means I am not Catholic, hence not required by that religion to eat mackerel or other fish on Fridays.

However I am a confirmed Episcopalian (think “Catholic Lite”) and we also observe meatless Fridays. Supposedly.

Confused? So am I.

Me...

No worries.

To make things even weirder, I got the phrase from the character Hawkeye Pierce, from the book MASH which also became a movie, then a long-running TV series, not because I'm Episcopalian.

steam also has sense of humour

Found a very old one screenshot of garuda linux (dated 28 July 2021), it was of when I just found garuda linux and was enjoying it with some random games and I found error messages in child processes by steam , at that time I laughed at that error message a lot because at that time didn't knew what where child processes actually , and I thought that steam also has sense of humour :joy:
Lol , how foolish was I at that time :slightly_smiling_face:
